"Caveat here is we haven't tested this in the water yet but dry land fitting was easy and it was much easier to dress our dog. Our dog hates the water and hates wearing anything. This vest was less annoying to him than the one he outgrew. The concept of the floatation on the bottom makes sense. We will try to test it in shallow water but even on 40C days, he can't be talked in."
"My miniature Aussie is around 27lbs and this fits him perfectly. The jacket tightens in all the right places. He usually gets frustrated when wearing jackets but he has no problem with this one!"
"I purchased this for my 20 Pound Boston Terrier. After using it twice the yellow strap at the collar came off. There was obviously no quality control checking them or it was overlooked. I spoke with a mustang representative at the Toronto or Miami boat show who said there was nothing that could be done about it and he shrinks shoulders. So there are two problems. . Quality and customer service. I support Canada products but was very disappointed yet again. Several and I mean at least 6 or 7 years ago I called to ask if they had spray hoods for their vests… Nope… being an offshore sailor I believe it is an important part of kit. The response I received was as if I was stupid and wasting their time. I still have 7 of their vests though. . but they could do better."

"A size medium fits our English Springer Spaniel well and she seems very comfortable swimming with it on. We did add a strap to make a one-handed rescue possible (rather than using the two handles on the PFD)."
"love this and does dog. tried other brands but they didn't fit well, and had too much padding all around causing dog to overheat. this was a great find, fits great, product measurements provided were accurate, design allows easier movement and cooling for pet. would have purchased sooner but it was not coming up on browser searches, even within Canada, so happy finally found it"
"The best life jacket match for our dogs! We have tried several others but this one gives our English lab the confidence to swim easily in deep water. He will even tow the paddle board now. . . for fun! Our smaller American is a crazy jumper and flings herself off the dock. The life jacket gives her the space and comfort to move the way she wants."
